The Bundt baking continues in celebration of the upcoming release of my new cozy mystery, Nothing Bundt Trouble. Are you ready for a super simple recipe for a party, family gathering, or any occasion that calls for a large sandwich? How about a Bundtwich?!? 🥪
Yes, all you need is a pack of your preferred brand frozen bread dough (Rhodes is my absolute favorite go-to), your favorite Bundt pan, and any desired sandwich ingredients to make a quick and easy Bundt sandwich — a Bundtwich! As far as Bundt recipes go, this is about as simple as they get, and the Bundt pan gives your bread a fun and unique design that is sure to impress. Enjoy the latest episode of the Torte Test Kitchen as I demonstrate an easy and delicious Bundtwich recipe. Happy Bundtwich stacking!
1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed & risen (I love Rhodes Bake-N-Serv® White Bread — wheat works too!)
4-5 slices Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef (sliced for sandwiches)
4-5 slices Havarti, Cheddar, Swiss Cheese
Condiments as desired
Thaw frozen bread dough and let rise according to package instructions. Coat a Bundt pan with baking spray. Press bread dough into Bundt pan making sure to connect completely to form ring. Bake bread at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown (be sure to follow specific package baking instructions if using different brand/bread). Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes, then remove from Bundt pan and place on wire rack to cool completely. Slice cooled bread in half horizontally. Spread desired condiments and stack ingredients. Replace top, slice, and serve!
