My 12 Days of Cozy Bakes Event and Giveaway has started!
I spent days and days trying to come up with something special to share with you this holiday season and a fortuitous recipe request from a reader gave me the idea to bake up the most-requested recipes that never made the final cut for the books of my Bakeshop Mystery Series. These delectable bakes are finally getting to be the stars of the show. For the next twelve days I’ll be sharing a brand new (and most-requested) recipe from each book in the series along with daily giveaways and a grand prize that you won’t want to miss! I purchased the “Baking with my Gnomies” set at Paddington Station here in Ashland (London Station in my Bakeshop Mysteries). You can find them on the web here: https://paddingtonstationashland.com If they don’t have that item in their website store, just call them and they’d be happy to ship it to you if they have it in stock.

I have a question about one of your discussions regarding brewing in a French Press. This is the only way I make coffee and I just didn’t understand what you were talking about floating grounds and then filling the French Press to the top?
I fill my press and stir the coffee into the just cooled boiling water and wait four minutes and it’s ready. Can you maybe straighten out my brain on what you meant.

I have the same problem others have mentioned. I visit the sites, but never get the check marks showing the entry for visiting those sites. Guess I’ll settle for the 2 I got. (If I’m already following or a member, not sure why I have to go through this again onky to get frustrated when I don’t get the extra enties.)

Sorry you’re having issues with the entry form, Deb. Please be sure you’re clicking the “I’ve visited” button on the entry form after going to the websites and the entries should record just fine. If you’re still experiencing issues, maybe try another browser. I’m seeing a lot of successful entries, so I know the form is working but there are a lot of different devices and browsers out there so it’s definitely possible that some particular combination has hiccups sometimes.
