We had some really great suggestions for the latest cliffhanger of our collaborative cozy mystery, A Brunch with Death! The five choices for this week’s vote are listed below. Please choose your favorite (One. Choice. Only.) and let me know by posting it in the comments below.
This is a critical point in our mystery, so choose wisely. 😊
1 — Hank stashed poison there, intending to use it on Peter, but someone beat him to it.
2 — There’s a hidden patch of drywall, behind which is a lock box containing a key and lots of cash.
3 — There is a bundle of old newspapers detailing Hank’s criminal past.
4 — Richard Lord had planted a hidden camera in an attempt to prove that Peter was stealing.
5 — Toni’s original play was found, but the back of the script has a poison recipe—and a sketch of Richard.

P.S. – I had talked about switching to a poll format, but since the capabilities are different across every single social media platform, and using a 3rd party app/service adds to the complexity, we’ll just stick with voting via comments for now.
I vote for four! Richard is no financial dummy, whatever his faults, because he still seems to have tons of money. So it would make sense he’d notice the discrepancies in the food and bills and try to catch Peter stealing. Though why a camera would be under the sink, I’m not sure…maybe one of many?
