This may be the easiest recipe ever, but it is sure to impress. The rich buttery shortbread crust, the sweet caramel, and the bright finish of flaked sea salt will leave your mouth watering. You can use any salt, but I recommend a briny, flaky sea salt from an Oregon favorite, Jacobsen Salt Co.
Salted Caramel Mini Pies
6 mini shortbread crusts 1 package of caramel squares 8 oz evaporated milk 1 tsp brandy extract Flaked sea salt
Over medium heat, whisk caramels, evaporated milk, and brandy extract together until all of the caramels have melted. Carefully fill each tart shell with caramel sauce. Sprinkle with flaked sea salt. Allow to cool and gel for one hour before serving.
