Sometimes in the midst of the holiday bustle, you just crave comfort. Nothing says comfort like these soft and chewy peanut butter chip cookies. When Nestle Tollhouse sent me this package, I didn’t even consider baking anything else. Why mess with perfection? There’s just one problem with these cookies—they disappear and I mean fast. I filled the cookie jar, looked away, and—poof—they were gone!
1 cup butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup creamy peanut butter
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
2 cups flour
1 package Nestle Tollhouse milk chocolate & peanut butter morsels
Preheat oven to 375° F. Cream butter and sugars together in a mixer. Add in egg, peanut butter, and vanilla. Mix until well combined. Slowly incorporate the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in milk chocolate and peanut butter morsels.
Roll dough into 2-inch balls and place onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 375° F for 8-10 minutes.
