This is my son’s favorite “breakfast for dinner” meal and it couldn’t be more simple to make. It’s all your breakfast favorites in a quiche. You can swap out the sausage for bacon, shredded ham, or veggies. I pair it with a green salad and fresh fruit and dinner is done!
Sausage & Cheese Breakfast Pie
1 premade pie crust 4 eggs 1 cup half and half ½ pound sausage, cooked 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded 1 tsp Italian seasoning ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp parsley Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350° F. Press unbaked crust into pie plate. Poke holes in the bottom with a fork. Set aside. Whisk eggs and half & half together. Add in cheese, sausage, and spices. Pour mixture into unbaked crust. Bake for 50 minutes. Use pie shield if crust edges begin to brown before the mixture is baked. Serve hot.
